About

I am a classical wanderer.  I have discovered, by grace, the pearl of great price. It is not an “it”, it is a “Him”,and His name is Jesus! I am on an ever changing journey where each new day brings new lessons, and new adventures. I was in “professional” ministry as a Pastor for 27 years before coming here to Honduras. Since being here, we all have learned a great deal about the heart of God, His Church, and what life is really supposed to be all about.

I am learning to be comfortable in my own skin, and trying to learn how to live life and be “real” as I live it. I am also learning how to bask in the wastefulness of God’s grace. Learning to live life in the reality that, “if anything matters, everything matters!”

I am delightfully, passionately, and forever in love with my wife of 26 years, Denise. We have three lovely daughters: Anna, Rebekah, and Rachel.

I enjoy running/working out, surfing, snorkeling, long walks on the beach, sunsets, poetry, writing, a great steak from Outback Steakhouse, hiking, and reading.

We lived in the city of Tegucigalpa, Honduras for the last four years, and have recently returned to the States.  We currently reside in North Carolina.  We miss Central America!!!
